When Celebrities are bold in their Faith or outward with their Faith, these are not things of the norm though they are of the norm now. We see a lot of people doing this however don`t want to think that its kind of a fun train that everybody is jumping on. This is actually something sincere they are doing. Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the latest to do this. There are some photos of him being prayed for and he was getting spoken to. After some digging, looks like he was invited to be honored at “Stop The Violence Peace Concert” in Brooklyn, New York by Bishop Lamar Whitehead and later gave his life to Christ.
Whitehead and those in the church assured Tekashi that they will support him and know that he has a great heart.
“This young man that’s standing next to me, right here, I have his back. I’m his bishop; I’m with him,” “This young man is going to be working with me with tons of initiatives and we’re going to be doing charity together. And guess what, he’s going to talk to me; he’s going to answer to me as a spiritual advisor. Let me help him change.” said Bishop Lamar Whitehead addressing the congregation.
“I’ve performed around 100,000 people and I’ve never felt this type of nervous,” Tekashi said when asked to talk at the conference.
The young man could not get himself to say much else and just rocked back and forth during the service but noticeably took every word in and applauded most of what the bishop said to and about him. The type of people we want to address here is 50 Cent, Tekashi 6ix9ine e.t.c because they speak these things (violence, drugs) in their music. There’s no telling whether or not this will be the beginning of a new road for Tekashi 6ix9ine but the seed has definitely been planted.
St. Louis-based artist/author Thi’sl In just under a month after being shot is ready to drop an album ‘Small Thing To A Giant’
This is some great news because with him being one of the pioneers of street music, staples in CHH trying to make a difference with his music going back to the same hoods he grew up in. It was never a good idea for him quitting music as he had said on his tweet months ago because people were trying to tell him what he could and couldn’t rap about. He wanted to be in control of that decision. There`s more he wants to say so he is back to make music. Let`s wait to see what he has for us.
There has been a lot of controversy surrounding this video “APOKARADOKIA” by Kid Triss.
Now the first and foremost thing is that I’ve seen several people not like they don’t rock with this at all. But there are several people that do. And now there are some people that came to the same standard he had better music and everything like that. But when it came to the single venue video a lot of people are now rocking with it. But I checked out a lot of the comments and a lot of people who were commenting on the video definitely were rocking when this one seems like he’s getting a lot of support. On one side yet there’s a lot of people that don’t really rock with this. On the other side I even let my wife kind of check this video out because she doesn’t really mess with CHH like that.
So I like to get another point of view and she said that the beat was dope, which it is, the video was interesting, which it is. However can’t understand him and I think what a lot of times what’s happening is when we can’t stand someone we are very quick to shun them. And so I try not to really take that approach but honestly I’m really confused as to this kind of the point where we are happy and let you know WHATUPRG’s “West Side”. It was just a video. To me it was a song that was all over the place. I didn’t really vibe with it. However the project was dope. I have said that this is another one that I just I don’t rock with a lot of people don’t rock with. Because not only can we not understand them but it’s kind of like he’s not really saying much that he just really got in the studio and just made something kind of catchy somebody said his comments to Cashy 69. I said definitely to me this is kind of like a little punk but again we have a lot of people that actually rocking or rocking with this so therefore I don’t know where exactly we draw the line from actual music or things that actually have a point to where we just allow people to do what they want to and just leave them alone and let them run away. I’m all about artist creativity but I think sometimes there needs to be a line drawn between. Now this review of the video is not meant to bash, i am simply asking a question where we are within Christian hip hop. So I ask you all this because I value your opinions. Am I tripping or is this a little as far as being different?
What’s your take?
Comedian, Rapper signed to Miner League records and co-creator of the groundbreaking musical project “Magic & Bird“, John Itiola stars in his second solo project ”Lo Fi Love“.
There’s no idea what they are doing over Minor league but the fact of the matter is Wordsplayed has announced he is releasing his solo project called ”Lo Fi Love“. He announced this a couple of days ago and it is coming out this Friday, 1st June, 2018 or maybe he was just kind of just sitting on some tracks and he was like “Man I got Eilish tracks that I’ve had, let’s go ahead and put it out or what”. But there is no tracklist and out he does in fact have a single out. I mean we had no warning about this. You know even we look crazy dropped to surprise church clothes 3 and there was an old press information thing about it. We still had heard rumblings of a release of a church clothes 3. The only thing was that nobody knew when it was actually going to be dropping. So maybe he announced it due to you know through some Instagram videos or whatever the case is. We did not hear anything about this so this can work for/or against him. The fact is the man has been active. He’s been featured on social club tracks he’s had the whole “Magic & Bird” mix tape that he dropped last year and the year before that he dropped “clowntown“. So the man definitely has been active but we had received no warning for this so we don’t know what to expect, if there’s any features. It’s in fact a project produced by one person. Let us know if you have any additional information, put in the comments. Let us know what you all think that if you all are going to definitely go support this album.
