Reach Records Announces We Are UNASHAMED Tour & EP

Reach Records kicks off 2022 announcing pre-sales for We Are UNASHAMED TOUR which kicks off March 17th in Austin, TX and travels to 13 cities across Midwest, South, and Southeast regions ending April 10th in Orlando, FL. The tour, branded We Are UNASHAMED references Roman’s 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes!” The verse developed from a mantra and into a movement for Reach Records, its artists and believers of the 116 Lifestyle. The lineup will include electrifying performances from Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, Tedashii, 1K Phew, Gawvi, Wande, WHATUPRG, and Hulvey! Ticket sales begin TODAY, Wednesday, January 26th.

Along with the tour announcement, Reach Records has released a new, We Are UNASHAMED EP, featuring three singles: “Represent II,” “Pa’ Que Sepa,” and “Otu Otu Isii.” Musically, the We Are Unashamed EP showcases Reach Record’s commitment to expanding the 116 music, movement, and lifestyle globally. “Represent II” featuring Wande, 1K Phew, Wande, Trip Lee, and Gawvi is a turnt up version of Lecrae’s Represent ft. Tedashii, originally released on Lecrae’s 2004 debut album, Real Talk. “Pa’ Que Sepa” (translated ‘So You Know’ in Spanish) featuring Tommy Royale, Brayan Booze, Don Ryvcko, Cardec Drums, and Emanuel Lara; and “Otu Otu Isii” (translated ‘One One Six’ in Igbo) which features Limoblaze, Tedashii, and Wande.

“We really wanted to unite cultures with this EP and show the world that the Unashamed message is global and bigger than where we’re from,” shares Lecrae, artist, co-founder, and president of Reach Records. Lasanna “ACE” Harris, VP of A&R who produced “Otu Otu Isii” adds, “We get so much love and support from Africa, so on Otu Otu Isii we wanted to amplify that support, blend genres, and ultimately rally around the banner of proclaiming our faith to the world.”

“The abstract graphic of the eclipse on the We Are UNASHAMED EP packaging and tour artwork is a symbol of the good news spreading across a world and people of different cultures coming together under the same sun!” shares Reach Creative Director Kevin Hackett. “The eclipse also represents a transition and an awakening that we all felt when we gave our lives to Christ. We want to represent the power and the joy in that awakening and share it with the masses.”

Hulvey Releases Tell-All Documentary Ahead Of Debut Album

Brunswick, GA native Hulvey opens up to This Is Me TV in their latest documentary, Where Do I Belong?, which premiered this morning on YouTube. This 10-minute documentary is released in anticipation of the 22-year-old’s debut album Christopher that drops worldwide on April 9, 2021.

Shot in Brunswick, GA and Atlanta, GA, the doc goes behind the scenes and off and on the stage with the Reach Records’ artist. They share how he grew up like a lot of Christian kids – going to church, eating goldfish crackers, hanging out with his friends, but not really connecting deeply with God. After going on a mission trip and seeing the Holy Spirit at work, Hulvey decided to pursue God with all he had.  But he didn’t always go about it the right way…

In high school, it looked a lot like judging people, and sticking to a strict list of ‘What Not To Do.’ Hulvey found himself on the outside – never being invited to the parties, and seeing friends slowly drift away. But hip hop gave him a place to belong. After a few of his singles blew up in his local community, Hulvey ended up moving to Atlanta, bagging groceries at Publix while trying to get signed by Reach Records. Even if the record deal fell through, nothing was going to stop Hulvey from creating music from the Holy Spirit and finding satisfaction in God.

This is Christopher Hulvey’s story.

Hulvey Drops “Reasons” Feat. Lecrae & SVRCINA

Hulvey, from Reach Records, has dropped his highly-anticipated new single “Reasons” featuring his mentor and labelmate Grammy Award-winning rapper Lecrae and pop sensation SVRCINA.

The song communicates the authentic fears the Brunswick native felt about losing his grandfather, life after death and thoughts of eternity. The chorus, performed by SVRCINA, reminds listeners there are many reasons for people to keep on moving forward and to not give up. Lecrae jumps in on a verse communicating about the trials life throws at us from death, loss and trauma but we can find hope in Christ to push through.

Hulvey, the 22-year-old Brunswick, GA native, went from dropping out of college and scrubbing toilets at Publix to becoming Reach Records latest hip hop rising artist.
